This sewing screen was made to match one my mom has that her grandfather and aunt helped her make when she was little. My dad made me the frame for Christmas and my mom helped me put together the background and pockets. Then I had to eat lots of jelly to get those empty jars but it’s finally completely finished.

I made Butterick B4572 A for a Seven Deadly Sins themed costume party. I went as Bacchus for gluttony. Crepe-back satin and all notions are from JoAnn’s. I made it a little longer than called for and added a liner.

I made the Baby Yoda Sweater [pdf] for a friend’s baby that will arrive in March. It was knit from Mission Falls 1824 Cotton 100% cotton in color #303 on US 6 needles. The size is 0-6 months. I changed the inside ties to crochet chains instead of i-cords since I thought the cords would be too bulky.

I made Womb for Heather. It was made with TLC Essentials 100% acrylic in Fusion (2690) on US 8 needles.

I knit the Herringbone Neck Warmer out of Manos del Uruguay 100% wool in color #104 on size US 11 needles.

I made Ruby for Macy. The yarn is Lion Brand Microspun 100% micro-fiber acrylic in Ebony (153) and Lily White (100), and Patons Brilliant 69% acrylic / 31% polyester in Radiant Red (4942). They were knit on size US 3 and US 6 needles. I made the 6-9 month size. I didn’t like the ridge on the sole the 3-needle bind off left the first time I made these, so this time I just grafted the edges together instead.

I made this skirt for my sister Laura from Simplicity 7693 with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made this vintage apron for myself from McCall’s 3979B with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made this vintage apron for my mom from McCall’s 3979D with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made a Gnomey Hat out of a leftover skein of KnitPicks Panache 40% baby alpaca / 20% cashmere / 20% silk / 20% extrafine merino in Dusk. It was knit on US 10 needles.
