I grabbed some basil today&#8230; <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/food\/basil.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;to make my favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/kribit.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/29\/food-processor\/\">pesto sauce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/food\/pesto.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n(If that looks like a lot, it&#8217;s because you can&#8217;t just eat some of this pesto sauce.  You eat it all.  Well, I froze half for later to remove it from temptation.)<\/p>\n<p>Since I got my garden going late, I missed out on rhubarb.  Luckily, my whole family in NY has it coming out their ears and just sent a bunch down with my brother to distribute.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/food\/rhubarb.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I had enough to make this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Rustic-Fruit-Desserts-Crumbles-Pandowdies\/dp\/1580089763\">rhubarb buckle with ginger crumb<\/a> tonight&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/food\/rhubarbbuckle.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and I froze enough to make the lemon buttermilk rhubarb bundt cake from the same cookbook later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Or herbs, as the case may be.
