I get to go to another funeral this week.  She&#8217;s been in bad shape for a while so this was a blessing.  The past couple of days she&#8217;s been on hospice care so she had morphine at least.  All of her living children, her youngest sister, some grandchildren and other assorted friends and relatives got to be with her to the end.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/family\/hazel_boardwalk.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nShe was so gorgeous<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/family\/bob_hazel.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWith my grandfather, who died in a car accident 40 years ago<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/family\/hazel_peggy.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWith their oldest daughter Peggy, who died from breast cancer 30 years ago<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/kris.kribit.com\/family\/hazel_bettyw_bettym.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWith her oldest sister Betty, who died almost 2 years ago now, and my grandfather&#8217;s sister Betty, whose funeral was on Saturday.  She and the second Betty were best friends and that&#8217;s how she came to marry my grandfather.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My grandmother died tonight.
