It was really cool to be down there seeing everyone come in. I knew what their approximate times would be so I went to the finish line in front of the Art Museum about half an hour before that, just in case. He came in at 03:45:39, and she came in at 04:56:42. I was thinking it’d be cool to run that too.. and then I remembered it’s 26 miles. It would take me forever to do a 5k at this point. Maybe I’ll start running again. Except it’s winter now so I probably won’t because I lose all motivation to get out of my bed when it’s cold.

I took my film camera with me since I have a telephoto lens for it. I hadn’t used it in years. But then I got so excited when they came in that I was cheering and probably didn’t take good pictures. It’ll probably be a long time before I find out. I have no idea when I’m going to finish the roll of film. I’ll have to make an effort to bring it home for Thanksgiving or something. It was cool though because a lot of people finished holding hands with whatever group they were part of, or their kids came out and ran the last bit with them. There were a couple of guys who came in with some seriously bleeding nipples though. It was painful to even look at.

I watched my cousin and her fiancé run in the Philadelphia Marathon this morning.
