I made this 1920s style Tango Dress from Folkwear 237 with a spruce-colored crepe-back satin that I got at JoAnn’s.

This looks far better than all the pictures of the dress that the pattern-makers themselves made. It looks sleek and the color and shine give it a posh look. Its nice to know this pattern CAN look really nice. I’m always leery of patterns that the creators can’t even get a decent picture of or that looks bunchy and ill-done on their models. This would look really great with some era appropriate trim or beading! Good job!
