I designed Mikey for my father for his birthday. The yarn is Mountain Colors Bearfoot 60% superwash wool / 25% mohair / 15% nylon in Evergreen, and I got it at Rosie’s. It was knit on size 6 needles with size 7 for the brim. This was my first design.
 
totally awesome! Is your pattern available? I’m not much of a hat wearer, even in the middle of winter but this I’d wear with pride.

The pattern is linked to at the top of the post. It’s more notes on how I made it since I’d never written a pattern before and didn’t have anyone test it.
