Robot Blanket

Filed under: knitting — Kristin @ 11:06 pm

I made this Robot Blanket (based on the Robot Hat) for Owen. The yarn is Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice 100% acrylic in Kelly Green (172), Espresso (127), and Beige (123). It was knit on US 9 needles. I duplicate stitched the robots on instead of knitting them in because it presents a slightly neater back with less loops for little fingers to get stuck in.

  2. Thanks Iris! The colors match the nursery (and they have some robots in the nursery as well). I thought about doing the robots all the way across the bottom of the blanket but I like them just in the corner. Reminds me of Mystery Science Theater.
