This sewing screen was made to match one my mom has that her grandfather and aunt helped her make when she was little. My dad made me the frame for Christmas and my mom helped me put together the background and pockets. Then I had to eat lots of jelly to get those empty jars but it’s finally completely finished.

I made Butterick B4572 A for a Seven Deadly Sins themed costume party. I went as Bacchus for gluttony. Crepe-back satin and all notions are from JoAnn’s. I made it a little longer than called for and added a liner.

I made this skirt for my sister Laura from Simplicity 7693 with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made this vintage apron for myself from McCall’s 3979B with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made this vintage apron for my mom from McCall’s 3979D with fabric that I got at JoAnn’s.

I made these for Sean and Jenn out at their new home in Oregon.

These gators were very simple to make, just 20″ squares of fleece and 3 lines of sewing. I’m sending a couple to my soldiers from Hugs From Home and the rest to the Gator Project.

I made the Satin-Edged Blanket from Knitting for Two for a former professor’s baby, due in December. The yarn is Lion Brand Homespun 98% acrylic / 2% polyester in Candy Apple (375). I used US 15 and US 19 needles. I embroidered the Chinese character for luck in one corner. The ribbon was actually 4″ wide instead of 2″ like the pattern called for.

I finally made the camera case I promised my friend Joanie for her birthday 2 years ago. There was no pattern, I just got the measurements of her camera and went from there.

I made these stockings for Amie and Andy based on stockings that my mother made, which were based on stockings her grandmother made. They are just flannel, felt, and Red Heart yarn.
