I made the Big Bad Baby Blanket from Stitch ‘N Bitch for Julia’s new baby to be born in June. The yarn is Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino 100% merino wool in colorway #P436. I had 4 skeins each of 2 different dyelots so since the pattern called for holding 2 strands together throughout, I just held one of each dyelot. It was knit on US 9 needles.

I made these for Sean and Jenn out at their new home in Oregon.
Gators
These gators were very simple to make, just 20″ squares of fleece and 3 lines of sewing. I’m sending a couple to my soldiers from Hugs From Home and the rest to the Gator Project.

I made the Satin-Edged Blanket from Knitting for Two for a former professor’s baby, due in December. The yarn is Lion Brand Homespun 98% acrylic / 2% polyester in Candy Apple (375). I used US 15 and US 19 needles. I embroidered the Chinese character for luck in one corner. The ribbon was actually 4″ wide instead of 2″ like the pattern called for.
