I helped a friend make some bunting for decorations for her three year old’s birthday party. There were two sets of colors, each consisting of four fat quarters and one regular quarter, which yielded 71 6″ wide and 7″ long triangles. We ended up with eight 9′ lengths of bunting.




I made the Mendocino Sundress for myself from some lightweight linen. I made some slight changes to the pattern – shortened the skirt, included 1/4″ elastic in the top hem casing and added different straps. The best part? Pockets!

My friend’s Memorial Day party had a prize for the person who dressed the most patriotic. I won.

I made this DJ Baby Rock! hat for Mae, who is having a Yo Gabba Gabba themed first birthday party this weekend. It was knit from Ice Yarns Long Eyelash 100% polyester in orange on US 10 needles.

I made the August Pullover for me from KnitPicks Swish Bulky 100% superwash merino wool in Saffron on US 10 needles.
