I took a needle felting class with my mom at Woolbearers and ended up with this lovely turkey.

I made the Owls sweater for myself from Reynolds Rapture 50% wool / 50% silk in color 710 on US 10 and 10 1/2 needles.

I made the Super Simple Scandinavian Style Shawl for my grandmother from KnitPicks Andean Silk 55% superfine alpaca / 23% silk / 22% merino wool in Cornflower on US 8 needles.

I made the Cousteau Cowl for my grandfather from KnitPicks Swish Worsted 100% superwash merino wool in Tidepool Heather on US 4 needles.

I helped a friend make some bunting for decorations for her three year old’s birthday party. There were two sets of colors, each consisting of four fat quarters and one regular quarter, which yielded 71 6″ wide and 7″ long triangles. We ended up with eight 9′ lengths of bunting.

I made the Mendocino Sundress for myself from some lightweight linen. I made some slight changes to the pattern – shortened the skirt, included 1/4″ elastic in the top hem casing and added different straps. The best part? Pockets!

My friend’s Memorial Day party had a prize for the person who dressed the most patriotic. I won.

I made Etienne from KnitPicks Swish Bulky 100% superwash merino wool in Blackberry on US 11 and 10 1/2 needles.

I made a couple of Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloths, a Ballband Dishcloth and a Waffle Knit Dishcloth from Lily Sugar ‘n Cream 100% cotton in White (00001) and Natural Stripes (1004) on US 6 and 7 needles.
