November means it’s time for Christmas music right?
I just got Trinity by Leon Uris off of half.com. I’m having a hard time not reading it. Not that I have time for an 800 page novel, but I started the first couple of chapters this morning. Bad idea because now I’m hooked. I have other books that I’m in the middle of too: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Never Eat Alone, and Female Chauvinist Pigs. I’m ahead by one book in my American Literature class, but then there are two more books after that. I wish someone would pay me to read.
For the 3rd year in a row, I will be finishing my costume the day I wear it to a party. But that’s because I didn’t start until last night. Oops. I’m almost done, maybe 2 hours left, but I needed a break. I got up early to do my hair in pin curls since that takes all day to dry. As soon as I’m done, I have to clean my apartment, and I still have to go get food and drinks for tonight’s party, which won’t be until later, after I can take my hair down. Hopefully I can wave it and get it to look like Gene Tierney / Ingrid Bergman.
Funeral #4 this year for my family is on Friday. Before this year, I’d only ever been to 2 funerals. This sucks.
