Since I had some cousins in from CA and TN last weekend, we were hanging out on Saturday and went to the Mütter Museum. I guess it was cool, in an extremely gross way. It made me want to never have babies, ever. All the deformed fetuses in jars were horrifying. And I don’t know why I thought this would be a good place to go with my brother. You can’t event go to the grocery store with him without him making extremely loud, strange comments that cause people to stare at you. And I decided to go with him to a place where there is a “mega colon”, and lots of other oddities that just beg for strange comments.
I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen since graduation at Lisa’s birthday party last weekend. We are going to Prospector’s tomorrow night. Joanie and I never made it back after the one time so this should be fun.
Sean and I are having a St. Pat’s Party at our apartment on the 17th. I guess it’ll start around 9. Bring booze. And let me know if you’re planning on coming.
The Appel Farm lineup got announced. Danielia Cotton and Slo-Mo are going to be there. Richard Thompson is headlining. I’ve seen him there before.
I’ve been thinking about going to Bonnaroo. Most of my favorite people are going to be there, and it’s not actually that expensive when you consider that it’s camping and music for 3 days. The most expensive part would be getting to TN. Splitting the cost with a carload of people would help out though. The only thing is it’s at the end of finals week for my spring term, so I’d have to see what that schedule will look like.
